About Me
Stefanie Carrato-Farr
I didn’t take a direct path to interior design, and that’s precisely your advantage. You get a designer who creates spaces with intuition and manages projects with the eye of a tax consultant: focusing on budget, deadlines, and every detail.
What My Background Offers You
Working almost 17 years in Big 4 tax firms taught me what is often missing in interior design projects: clear figures, binding procedures, and someone who maintains an overview.
Budget from the Start
I consider costs before they arise. Quotes are transparently compared, and your budget remains visible at all times. This helps you avoid expensive mispurchases and surprises.
Projects with a system
In Big 4 tax firms, I coordinated complex tasks with many stakeholders and strict deadlines. I apply the same approach today to keep craftsmen, deliveries, and appointments under control.
Discreet and Reliable
Confidentiality was a given in my previous profession, and the same applies to your home. I keep my promises, even under time pressure.
From Personal Experience
I have personally redesigned an apartment and a house from the ground up. Therefore, I understand the questions and decisions you face from the perspective of a client.
My Journey
Not a Detour, but a Foundation
My passion for spaces has been with me for many years. Long before I founded Carrato Interior Design, family, friends, and acquaintances relied on my intuition for designing their apartments and houses, now for over ten years.
With my training as a certified interior designer, I gave this passion a professional foundation, and with Carrato Interior Design, a professional framework. This is how I combine what rarely comes together: creative intuition, specialized knowledge, and the working methods from almost 17 years of tax consulting.

Spaces that Suit Your Life
My goal is to create spaces that are not only beautiful but also functional and thoughtfully designed for the long term. Spaces that reflect your personality and fit your everyday life, planned with clarity and executed with reliability.
Interior Design with Clarity. Design with Substance. Trust Through Reliability.
